In 2026, Dauphin County conducted a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Dauphin County Deferred Compensation Plan. Retirement Collaborative’s proposal was selected by the Director of Finance and unanimously approved by the Voluntary Employee Benefits Committee. The Board of Commissioners subsequently voted 2-1 in favor of Nationwide’s proposal.

The Plan is now transitioning from Alerus to Nationwide, and Retirement Collaborative LLC will no longer serve as the Plan’s investment advisor. Dauphin County and Nationwide will be providing you with details regarding the transition process. If you would like to enroll in the Plan, please contact Dauphin County Payroll/HR or refer to the information that they will be providing to you during open enrollments.

Until the transition is complete, your account remains accessible through Alerus.
