DC Tactical Models

The Tactical Models are designed for participants who would like an investment strategy that will vary its exposure to the stock market based upon indicators that track the U.S. and International stock markets.  The goal of the tactical strategy is to avoid large losses during prolonged stock market declines while realizing the majority of the gains during prolonged stock market increases.

The Tactical Models are reviewed at least quarterly.  During the review, it will be determined whether the models will have their minimum or maximum exposure to equities.  Once that is determined, the higher ranking Plan investment options will be used to construct the models for the quarter. 

These models could be used as stand alone investment options or in combination with a buy-and-hold strategy.
